Simplify Your Life: From Easy Dinners to Streamlined Business Tips

Wow, what a week it's been! My week included a Super Bowl party, networking events, class prep, client work, and Valentine’s Day.

With all these activities, I’m trying to simplify meals by whipping up some Trader Joe's magic in the kitchen. There's something so fun about zhuzhing a TJ's find with a few pantry staples to turn a casual weekday dinner into a 30-minute gourmet adventure. I’m loving this dumpling recipe and this pizza recipe! Making these meals feels like discovering a fun new pop-up restaurant right in my own kitchen!

Turning Websites into Streamlined Revenue Machines

Speaking of simplicity, this is a great podcast episode on crafting a productized business – i.e., creating a streamlined business and offering. Jason Gracia shares a fresh perspective, putting business strategy before design aesthetics and treating websites as the revenue-driving machines they’re meant to be. That’s why he only builds template websites designed for conversion. Once Jason implemented designing based on a template, he hit $1 million in revenue in two years! Jason says he’s not selling a template but a proven solution.

What’s more, Jason takes a holistic approach. He doesn’t just hand over a website; he integrates a lead magnet and email marketing, acknowledging that 94% of website visitors aren't ready to buy at first glance. This holistic approach sets the client up for success, reflects well on Jason’s company, and makes operations more efficient.

This episode has a ton of wisdom and sage business advice that applies to many different types of businesses, so check it out. I’ve already listened to this episode twice and made notes!

Grab Your Streamlined & Simplified Agreement

Making legal simple and streamlined is one of my life missions. That’s why I created this web design agreement. Here’s why I use this agreement in my own business:

  • It’s concise: Just 6 pages to nail the essentials, with other important policies neatly tucked away in a separate document.

  • It speaks your language: Crafted in plain, friendly English to onboard clients smoothly and swiftly. That’s why it’s called an agreement and not a contract!

  • It’s ahead of the curve: This agreement includes crucial clauses about legal content and AI use, something I haven’t seen elsewhere.

This agreement isn't just another document; it's the one I trust with my clients. Whenever I tweak the agreement for my use, I ensure everyone who's grabbed a copy gets the latest updates.
